Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha is better popular under her stage or screen identity Gugu Mbatha Raw. She became popular because she was a part of "Doctor Who. Handler started her acting career in order to provide for her. Handler when she was at the age of 21 was able to concentrate on stand-up comedians in full-time after gaining confidence in her storytelling. Handler's career began as part of the all-female Oxygen television show in the series with a hidden camera called Girls Behaving in a way that isn't normal. The show ran from 2002 to 2005. Handler began appearing on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started working on The Tonight Show as a correspondent. Handler gained notoriety in 2006 when she hosted an episode on E! It was named the Chelsea Handler Show. It lasted two seasons. In the following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. The stand-up shows she has performed have been shown on VH1 along with Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and HBO. The show was announced as the host of the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. She was the only female host ever to do so, after Roseanne.
