Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who served as Spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration from 2017 through 2019. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.
Before her post at the Department of State she was an Fox News correspondent and news presenter. From March 2018 until October 2018, Nauert worked as the Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy within the Trump administration. Nauert was named to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by President Trump.
